• Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2 or greater).
• Data is hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase) in secure, compliant regions. Google adheres to GDPR and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with certifications including ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• You can export and delete your data at any time via Settings → Account, or by emailing info@beeattune.com.
• Your data is not used to train or improve AI models. Our AI provider (Google Gemini) does not use API data for model training.
• Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand usage (counts, regions, devices) and improve the app. We collect the minimum needed to run the service.

1. Introduction

BeeAttune (website: beeattune.com; app: BeeAttune on iOS and Android) values your trust. We build products for stress, mindfulness, and wellness. Please read and consent to this Privacy Policy to use our services.

2.1 Data collected (beeattune.com – website)

Storage: Our website is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Marketing and site traffic are handled in ways that minimise personal data. We do not store personalised data on the website beyond what you submit (e.g. newsletter sign-up, if offered).

Analytics: We may use analytics on the site for anonymous usage (e.g. page views, regions, devices). No personalised data is stored for marketing. You can manage cookie and tracking preferences in your browser.

2.2 Data collected (BeeAttune mobile app)

Hosting: The app uses Firebase (Google Cloud) for auth, database (Firestore), storage, and backend functions. Data may be processed in regions that include the United States. Google complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and extensions) and holds certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2. See Google Cloud Privacy.

Account and profile: When you sign up, we store your account identifier, email (if provided), and profile details you add. Sign-in with Google is optional; if used, we receive your Google ID, name, email, and profile picture only to create and personalize your BeeAttune account. We do not use this for advertising or share it with third parties for their marketing.

Health data: If you connect Apple Health or Android Health Connect, we read only the metrics you authorise (e.g. heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, steps, active energy, body temperature, sleep sessions, mindful minutes). This data is synced to your private Firestore area, encrypted in transit and at rest. We use it only for in-app stress insights, trends, and streak protection. We do not sell or share health data.

Journal and content: Journal entries, notes, and other content you create are stored in Firestore under your account. They are used only to deliver app features (including AI insights when you use them).

AI (Gemini): AI features (journal chat, body insights, exercise chat, micro-learning) are powered by Google Gemini via our backend. Google does not use our API data to train or improve its models. Your content is used only to generate responses for you.

Subscriptions: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat’s privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Push notifications: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send reminders and alerts. FCM tokens and related metadata are processed by Google per its Firebase Privacy.

Analytics and reliability: We use Firebase Analytics, and may use Firebase Crashlytics/Performance, to understand usage and improve stability. We avoid sending sensitive content (journal text, health values) into these tools.

3. Use of personal data

We use your information to:

• Identify you and provide the app and website.
• Deliver wellness insights, stress trends, and streak protection.
• Run AI features you choose (journal chat, body insights, exercises).
• Process subscriptions and restore purchases.
• Send important product updates and, if you opted in, marketing.
• Provide support and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve the product via anonymised or aggregate analytics.
• Comply with law and protect our rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal or health data.

4. Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, deletion: You can update profile and preferences in the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, email info@beeattune.com or privacy@beeattune.com.
• Account deletion: In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This triggers removal of your profile, journal, health data, and related content from our systems.
• Health data: Revoke access in Apple Health or Health Connect to stop new syncing. Existing data in BeeAttune is removed when you delete your account.
• Marketing: Unsubscribe from emails via the link in each message, or contact us.

5. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in practice or law. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
